Hemorrhaging Faith

James Penner will be leading a Christian Leaders Seminar and Parent Information Seminar.

A sobering and insightful workshop for Christian leaders, lay people, parents and youth, based on ground breaking new research. James Penner (BEd, MA) is a youth sociologist, a youthworker, a former public school educator and presently an adjunct professor of Sociology at University of Lethbridge. He is lead author of the just released www.hemorrhagingfaith.com research report on the spiritual trajectories of Canadian young adults who were raised Christian in childhood.

Christian Leaders Seminar: Tuesday, March 5th from 9:30am-3:30pm. Columbia Place Gym. James will be pulling out the key points from the Hemorrhaging Faith study that are crucial for leaders in the Church to know, and talking through the practical applications that can be put towards turning this tide.

Parent Information Seminar: Thursday, March 7th from 7-9pm.  Chapel. What Parents need to know about why Young Adults are leaving the Church and what they can do.
