On Campus Ministries

Service Practicum students are encouraged to find placements in the community, however credit is possible through some on campus positions.


Qualified Positions

  • Resident Leaders (RL's)

  • Community Facilitators (CF's)

  • Commuter Assistants (CA's)

  • Executive STUCO positions

  • Recruitment Team Volunteers (Admissions)

  • Columbia Singers (only if you are not receiving an ensemble credit)

  • Vespers Team (only if you are not receiving an ensemble credit)


Policies

  • Students are only able to use one year of on-campus ministry for service practicum

  • Students must meet with their supervisor at least 2 times each semester

  • Must have a minimum time commitment of 2-3 hrs/week

  • Must be over the course of an academic year
