This fund, supported by students from those decades, provides financial assistance to needy students who demonstrate maturity, strong Christian character, impressive aptitude, and a commitment to Christian ministry. Foreign students are eligible provided they are firmly committed to return to their homeland for Christian ministry. Students applying for financial aid must be applying as a full-time student (12 credit hours per semester).
DISCOUNTS:
BC MC and MB Conference Discount Certification ($5 per credit hour) - To be filled out by pastor (pdf)
Columbia Bible College is supported by two BC conferences: Mennonite Brethren and Conference of Mennonites. For
purposes of determining who qualifies for this discount, the student must meet one of the following criteria:
1) Must be an active member or adherent of one of the supporting constituency churches over the last six
months, or
2) Their parent(s) must be a member of one of the supporting constituency churches.
A NOTE ON COSTS AND FINANCIAL AID AT COLUMBIA:
Columbia Bible College is extremely grateful for the financial support of the College by the two supporting Conferences and many individual donors. Their efforts and commitment to the College allow student fees and tuition to be established at approximately 60% of actual cost. We recognize that after this initial discount, education is still costly. We therefor try to give out as many bursaries and scholarships as possible. However, not everybody who applies will receive funding. Students who are awarded with financial aid will be contacted by December 15th (January entry) and May 31st (September entry).
Columbia Bible College reserves the right to make changes whenever necessary and to use the discretion of the College for the awarding of Financial Assistance.
