I can't believe it's March already, this year is flying by so quickly! I also can't believe that I woke up to a blanket of white outside...it's March and it's supposed to rain here! It's Reading Week right now and the campus is deserted, it quite around here, even in the offices! The students are off to various destinations, including two mission trips and some are just resting and catching up on homework here.

ALUMNI RELATIONS
10 year Reunion ('95-'97) Planning Event
We will be having a planning meeting Monday, March 12th at 7pm (CBC Resource Building, main floor, staff lounge). If you are from that era and want to be a part of planning for that event or have ideas, please come! If you have ideas and are not able to attend, please forward them to me at alumni@columbiabc.edu
Phone-a-thon
Our 9th annual phone-a-thon took place February 6&7th, and 12-15th. We had 7 great student callers who spent long evenings calling our active alumni. It was a great opportunity for them to connect with some of our alumni and they heard lots of great stories. We were also able to raise money and update our database information. Thanks to everyone who answered the call, updated their information, and gave to CBC!
Ontario Gathering
We had a great time with the small group that came out to our first Alumni Gathering in St. Catharines, ON. It was great to meet people face to face and to put faces to some of the names. We hope to continue these events in different places in the coming months. We'll let you know when we're coming to your area.
The Great Alumni Search
We've had a great response to the creation of the Alumni Relations office. Many people have submitted alumni update forms and our email and white pages lists are growing daily, but there are many people we still have lost touch with and you can help! People move or change their name and we lose track of them so we continuously searching for alumni. You are our greatest resource as many of you have stayed in touch with classmates, friends, relatives, or even people you attend church with or work with. You know information that we don't! Check with fellow alumni to see if they are receiving mail from us, if not, we would appreciate information to point us in the right direction or your connection with that person to encourage them to contact us and update their information. The best is to direct them to the website to fill out an alumni update form found at www.columbiabc.edu/alumni!
AROUND CBC
Feb 25-Mar 3: Reading Week (better known as Spring Break)
We have two mission teams out, one in New Orleans, and one in Mexico. Please pray for the safety of these students and their leaders and for the organizations and people they are serving. Pray also for all the other students who are travelling and for those who are still here, may this be a time of refreshment for them! Mar 8-11: Urban Mission Adventure #4
Our fourth group of 1st year students will be hitting the streets of the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. They will have the opportunity to see the needs of that area and to help out with various ministries throughout the weekend. Pray for these students and for the leaders...I plan to be one of them!

The college's graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday, 21 April 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Central Heights Church in Abbotsford. All are invited to celebrate this event with us.

ACCOUNTING CLERK POSITION
Columbia Bible College is currently inviting applications for the position of Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Clerk.
This position exists primarily to maintain and administer payments and billings of college expenditures and receivables. The successful candidate will preferably have 2 years experience and some post secondary training.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commitment to the Church and its mission and be an organized self-starter who can work as a team member. Agreement with CBC’s mission statement, Responsibilities of Community Membership, and Confession of Faith is essential. Salary commensurate with experience.
