On August 11, 2007 about 45 alumni and their children gathered together for a Family BBQ and a great evening of reconnecting with each other.

The evening began with a campus tour as the landscape of Columbia has changed dramatically in 10 years. Many were sad at the loss of Redekop and Centennial hall and reminisced about the great memories they had there. The look thought the teaching centre, resource building, and Columbia Hall brought back many memories. Many stories were shared about classes, staff and faculty, and dorm life. Then it was on to see the new CBC including Columbia Place and the Student Centre. Many alumni commented on the great changes that had taken place.

A BBQ for alumni and their families followed. Alumni spent time reconnecting and reminisced about old and new photos of alumni. The evening concluded with an update from President, Ron Penner and a coffee time that went late into the evening.
