November 2007
Hello Alumni!
October has been a month of celebration and hardship for our CBC family. We celebrated the inauguration of Ron Penner as president of Columbia Bible College and a great first 1/2 of a semester. At the same time, CBC students have reached the mid-point of the semester and are feeling the stress of midterm exams and assignments. One of our Kitchen staff, Lois, tragically lost her husband last week and it effects our whole CBC community. Please keep our students and our staff/faculty, and especially Lois in your prayers!
Here's what's happening...

The Great Alumni Search
Many people have submitted alumni update forms and our email and white pages lists are growing daily, but there are many people we still have lost touch with and you can help! People move or change their name and we lose track of them so we are continuously searching for alumni. You are our greatest resource as many of you have stayed in touch with classmates, friends, relatives, or even people you attend church with or work with. You know information that we don't! Check with fellow alumni to see if they are receiving mail from us, if not, we would appreciate information to point us in the right direction or your connection with that person to encourage them to contact us and update their information. The best is to direct them to the website to fill out an alumni update form found at www.columbiabc.edu/alumni!
Alumni Testimonies
Alumni stories are a key to our recruitment process and help people to catch the vision for Columbia. We want to know how your using your Columbia education, whether it's through employment, personal growth or volunteer service in the community. Many prospective students want to know what you can do with a Columbia education and your testimony helps us answer that question. So, send us a short testimony about your time at CBC, what you learned and how you're using that education today. You can send all testimonies to admissions@columbiabc.edu.
