About the Coach:

The Bearcats are coached by Mike McLaverty, who will be entering his fifth season as head coach. Mike is an Abbotsford native who played his high school ball at W.J. Mouat and former player with the UFV Cascades where in his four years he won three provincial championships and three CCAA national championships. As a player he also received many individual awards including a BCCAA First Team All-Star and National All-star selection.
