Application Process
In order for your application for Columbia Bible College to be reviewed by our Admissions Committee, please complete the following steps. Be sure to note important application dates.
These requirements are in place to ensure that you will be successful at Columbia. Please ensure you have taken the time to review the requirements before beginning your application.
Our application is all about YOU. We want to get to know you and understand why you are interested in Columbia. Please take the time to fill out the application questions thoroughly.
3) Contact your reference.
As part of your application we require you to provide a reference. Your references must be a Christian who is at least 25 years of age, a non-relative and has known you for a minimum one (1) year. All information gathered will be kept confidential and will only be viewed by the admissions committee. Reference forms are completed online and can be found on the Admissions application page.
*If you are applying for the Educational Assistant program you will need to provide an additional reference who has known you in a context of working with children and/or youth. The EA reference form can be found on the Admissions application page.
4) Send your transcripts to Columbia.
All students are required to submit an official high school transcript directly to Columbia. If you have not yet graduated high school a copy of your most recent transcript will be accepted temporarily. Please note that an official transcript will be required upon acceptance. Transfer students are also required to submit all post-secondary transcripts.
5) Email a digital photo of yourself.
We want to put a face to your application! Please send a recent digital headshot of yourself to Admissions@Columbiabc.edu or directly to your Admissions Advisor.
6) Pay your application fee.
Your $50 application fee can be made online, over the phone, by cheque or in person during regular business hours.

Important Application Dates
Time moves quickly, so we encourage students to send in their application as soon as possible. The sooner you submit your application to Columbia, the better your choice for course selection and dorm reservation!
FALL SEMESTER (September-December)
May 15 — September entry priority application deadline and financial aid application deadline.
Aug 15 — September entry application and deposit deadline. ($50 late fee is applied after July 15; residence deposit non-refundable).
WINTER SEMESTER (January-April)
November 15 — January entry priority application deadline and financial aid application deadline.
December 15 — January entry application and deposit deadline. ($50 late fee is applied after this date; residence deposit non-refundable).
US Students: Please ensure that your application is complete at least 1 month prior to the start of the semester so that all student visa letters can be sent in time for you to enter Canada.
Thinking of transfering? Columbia is committed to providing quality Christian higher education. After their time at Columbia, many of our students go on to pursue more education at other post-secondary institutions in a variety of programs.
