Discounts
Columbia offers a number of tuition discounts that are available to certain populations of the student body.
Students must apply for tuition discounts each semester. Applications are accepted until the last day of Add/Drop Week each semester; applications received after Add/Drop Week will not be processed.
Conference Discount
Students from the two supporting conferences of Columbia Bible College, BC Conference of Mennonite Bretheren Churches and Mennonite Church BC, may be eligible to receive a $5/credit hour discount on their tuition.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the discount, students must meet one of the following criteria:
- Be an active member or adherent of one of the supporting denominational churches over the last six
months;
- Be a dependant whose parent(s) are active members of one of the supporting denominational churches over the last six months.
How to Apply
To apply for the Conference Discount, please have a pastor from your church submit the Conference Discount Application Form.
If you are eligible, the discount will be applied to your student account.
Spouse of Student Discount
Married students who are both students at Columbia, with at least one spouse taking 12 or more hours for credit, are eligible for a spousal tuition discount. The spouse taking fewer credit hours may take audit courses at no charge and credit courses at 50% of the regular cost. This discount applied to basic tuition only and excludes any class fees, external training costs, etc.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Spouse of Student Discount:
- Both spouses must be students at Columbia;
- At least one spouse must be taking 12 or more credits each semester.
