Bearcat Awards

Bearcat scholarships are distributed individually by the volleyball and basketball head coaches in conjuction with the Athletic Director.  These awards CANNOT be applied for and the scholarship amounts given to recruited and returning student athletes will be determined by the Columbia Athletics Department.   Criteria include:  athletic talent, academic achievement and financial need.

Note:  All awards will be equally distributed over both semesters provided the student athlete maintains good academic standing.

1. New Student-Athlete Awards

a) Recipients must be entering as full-time student (1st year or transfer student) accepted by the Admissions Department of Columbia Bible College;

b) Recipients must be eligible to participate in their sport according to the stadards set by the CCAA and Columbia Bible College;

d) Both the amounts and the recipients are determined by Columbia Bible College.

2. Returning Student-Athlete Awards

a) Recipients must be returning students who have been a full-time for at least one semester at Columbia Bible College

b) Recipiants must be in good academic standing;

c) Recipiants must have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 in their previous year(s);

d) Both the amount and the recipients are determined by Columbia Bible College.
