Features of Living On Campus:

Dining Hall

The dining hall is located on the ground floor of the Student Services Centre just north of (across the lawn from) the Columbia Resource Center. A unique characteristic of Columbia Bible College is enjoying lunches with your own instructors! It's a great opportunity to get to know them outside of the classroom.

Dietary Restrictions

Students with special dietary needs are asked to indicate their needs with a doctor's note before arrival. Columbia makes a strong effort to accommodate dietary restrictions.  Please list your dietary needs in the application form in the Admissions section of this website and indicate if you have a doctor's notice.  Early communication with Student Development and the chef at CBC regarding dietary needs is important.

Laundry

In Columbia Hall laundry facilities are found on the 1st and 2nd floors. In Redekop Hall laundry facilities are found in the basement.

Phone Service

During the first week, you will be assigned a private extension/voice mail to receive incoming calls in your dorm.

Units(RLs/RDs)

All residence students are assigned to a unit in the dorms to which they belong for the year. The unit is overseen by a Residence Leader (typically a 2nd year student) who leads weekly meetings and events for the unit, and who comes alongside the students, helping them connect into the CBC community. The Residence Directors are staff members who provide leadership over the dorms and live in the dorms with the students. Their offices are located off of the student lounge.
