FAQ

Who can use Columbia's counselling services? Anyone who is a currently registered student at Columbia Bible College. Counselling services are available to all students, whether Resident or Commuter.

I don't have much money, will it cost me anything? The initial intake session is free.  After that, as a student, you can receive counselling for a nominal fee of $10.00 per appointment. Please keep in mind that students who miss appointments without notifying their counsellor ahead of time will still be charged for their session.

I’m a really private person, who will know I'm seeing a counsellor? Columbia respects your right to privacy and keeps appointments confidential. During your intake appointment, we will discuss with you the guidelines and limits of confidentiality.

Accessing Our Services:

Counselling offices are located on the second floor of the Student Center Building. 

For inquiries, please contact counselling.services@columbiabc.edu. To book a counselling session, completing an online application form is your first step. You will be contacted within a few days to schedule an intake interview. You will then be assigned a counsellor. Weekly or bi-weekly sessions are available.
