Educational Assistant Certificate

The Educational Assistant's Certificate program is designed to provide knowledge and skills to new and existing educational assistants to work with children and adolescents who require assistance in the learning process. This certificate is a continuing education part-time program completed in evening classes and weekend modules. Students may enrol in the full program and complete the certificate in one year on the part-time basis, or complete courses over an extended amount of time.

As a part of the Educational Assistant application process applicants are required to have a reference complete the EA Reference form. References must be a non-relative, have known the applicant for at least one (1) year and be at least 21 years of age.
