DINING ROOM:

Seats 200. If the adjacent Clearwood Room is opened up, seating can be increased to 300.

General Hours during Academic year:

Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 6:00pm

Friday 8:00am-1:00pm; 5:00pm-6:00pm

Saturday 8:30am-1:00pm + 5:00pm-6:00pm

& Sunday 8:30am - 9:30am; 12:00pm-1:30pm; 5:00pm-6:00pm

Menu for the week

The Food Court offers a variety of food options to choose from. Individually priced items. Select your items and pay at the cash register. Payment in cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, or deduct off your ID/meal plan card.
Resident students pre-purchase a Meal Plan amount in their Room & Board fee which is placed automatically onto their ID/meal plan card. There is the Basic Meal Plan, the Plus Meal Plan, and the Hearty Meal Plan. The amounts on these meal plans are GST exempt. To view regulations, please scroll down to FILES, Meal Plan FAQ.
Commuter students have the option of paying at the Front Desk and placing a designated amount on their ID/meal plan card. Please inquire as to the minimum purchase required on a Meal Plan card to be eligible to be GST exempt. To view regulations, please scroll down to FILES, Meal Plan FAQ.

The meal cards we offer have a declining balance. As you spend, your balance declines till you have nothing left to spend.
Additional amounts can be purchased onto the cards (if balances run low) at the Front Reception/Information Desk.

To determine if you should purchase a Basic Meal Plan ($1150/semester) or a higher one, we have provided below a sample of a weeks meal items you could manage to purchase on the Basic Meal Plan and the Plus Meal Plan ($1350/semester)

When you register for school, please indicate which meal plan you wish to purchase.

Note: The entire dollar amount on the Meal Plan card must be used during the semester of purchase, with limited roll over privileges between Fall and Spring Semester for those who remain both as residents and full time students during the academic year. No refunds once the Spring Semester is over. To help students budget their spending on the Meal Plan card, we have created a declining balance chart below for the Basic Meal Plan holders.

  • Grill is closed on Fridays

 Saturday-  8:30am-1:00pm; 5:00pm-6:00pm

  • Grab-n-go items, Pastry & Continental Breakfast items, fresh fruit, and beverages are available anytime during Dining Room hours.
  • Theme Cuisine offers Hot Breakfast 11:30am-1:00pm (Brunch); and regular menu 5:00-6:00pm
  • Soup, Salad Bar are open 11:30am-1:00pm; 5:00pm-6:00pm
  • Grill is closed on Saturdays

Sunday - 8:30am - 9:30am; 12:00-1:30pm; 5:00pm-6:00pm

  • Grab-n-go items, Pastry & Continental Breakfast items, fresh fruit, and beverages are available anytime during Dining Room hours.
  • Theme Cuisine, Grill, Soup, Salad Bar are open 12:00pm-1:30pm; 5:00pm-6:00pm

 NOTE: Daily closed for 1/2 hour during the day from 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm to cover staff breaks and print reports from cash registers.

MEAL PLAN WEEKLY DECLINING BALANCE CHART
APPROXIMATE ESTIMATE OF WHERE YOU SHOULD BE.

(This is based on the Basic Meal Plan of $1150.00. If you purchased the Plus Meal Plan or the Hearty Meal Plan, then your weekly expenditure would be slightly higher, pending on which meal plan you purchased. This declining meal balance is based on expenditure of $78.00 per week except in the last week of exams where we have budgeted only $58 since many of you finish early.)
