Columbia Bible College’s Wireless Network.
Students, patrons of our library and guests to the college are able to enjoy the option of a wireless Internet connection on a pay per use basis on CBC’s campus. Reception will be available within the men and women’s dorms (excluding senior housing), the student centre and resource building. Three basic options are available; one being a PayPerUse method, the second being a time block form of subscription and the third, the most cost effective, a subscription to our system for a period of time such as per week, month, semester school year and calendar year. All of the plans are listed below with more detailed explanations at the logon screen when signing up.
Payment is through a secure site using Visa or MasterCard. For those of you who do not have a credit card, you may pay with cash at CBC’s main reception desk in the Resource Building. You will receive a “prepaid card number” from our receptionist to enter when signing up. Please note that all plans will be available using the “Prepaid Card Numbers” except for the PayPerUse and 12 hour plans.
If you have a computer with wireless capability, simply view available networks, select CBCPUBLIC, and follow the instructions.

Single Semester Unlimited Plan $70.00
Single Semester Unlimited Plan: (Unlimited minutes. A four (4) month time period generally used for our Students from approx. Sept.- Dec. or Jan.- April. Please note that this is a block of time from any start date, for four months after. There is a $5.00 cancellation fee if this plan is cancelled after the renew date)
Academic Year Unlimited Plan $130.00
Academic Year Unlimited Plan: (Unlimited minutes. An eight (8) month time period generally used for our Students from approx. Sept. - April 30 each year. Please note that this is a block of time from any start date, for eight months after. There is a $5.00 cancellation fee if this plan is cancelled after the renew date)
Full Calendar Year Unlimited Plan $200.00 (Auto Renewable)
Full Calendar Year Unlimited Plan (Auto Renewable):(Unlimited minutes. The best value if you expect to use our system throughout the calendar year. There is a $10.00 cancellation fee if this plan is cancelled after the renew date)
CBC's 12 Hour Plan $15.00
CBC's 12 Hour Plan: $15.00 (For those who may be visiting for a few days and would like to have a set amount of hours available during your visit for wireless use. There is a .15 charge for each add. min. and a $3.00 cancellation fee if cancelled early)
PayPerUse: $4.00 per session up to 60 min.
(There is a .15 charge for each add. min.) (Use the PayPerUse button on the logon page) NOTE: Logging out will end your session and you will be charged a minimum of $4.00 to reconnect. Unused minutes DO NOT accrue.
Monthly Unlimited Plan $25.00
Monthly: unlimited minutes. There is a $3.00 cancellation fee if this plan is cancelled after the renew date
Weekly Unlimited Plan $8.00
