Current Openings

Cook 1

This part-time position (24-40 hours/week) prepares meals and follows established recipes. Duties include preparing food ingredients and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, and assist other cooks and deliver food in a fast-paced environment. Work may include operating a grill, oven, fryer, and other restaurant equipment. This position is currently available and ends April 20, 2022 with a possible future potential of a renewable contract.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Contract Positions available for Winter 2022

Guitar Instructor - Contract position

Columbia Bible College is looking for a guitar instructor for the Worship Arts department. This is a contract position to teach private guitar lessons beginner through advanced (September through April). We are looking for an individual with a broad range of experience, including experience playing guitar on church worship teams and ability to teach instrument tuning and maintenance. These are College courses, so syllabus preparation and grading, as well as participation in two semester-end recitals a year and a department year-end meeting are also expected.

The ideal candidate has bachelor’s or master’s level music training and/or ARCT qualification (or is in process) and is able to teach varying skill levels in a variety of guitar styles. Equivalent experience will be considered. Preference will be given to a candidate who can teach toward worship team application.

Columbia invites any individuals that are committed and growing disciples of Jesus Christ to apply. The deadline for applications is November 15, 2021.

Experience in speech level singing and modern vocal techniques, as well as stage presence and master classes would be an asset. These are College courses, so syllabus preparation and grading, as well as participation in two semester-end recitals a year and a department year-end meeting are also expected.

The ideal candidate has bachelor’s or master’s level music training and/or ARCT qualification (or is in process) and is able to teach varying skill levels in a variety of vocal styles. Equivalent experience will be considered. Preference will be given to a candidate who can teach toward worship team application.
