Welcoming Our New President

Columbia Bible College Welcomes Dr. Steve A. Brown as its New President

On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Steve Brown as the seventh President of Columbia Bible College.

Dr. Brown comes to Columbia from Arrow Leadership where he developed Jesus-centered leaders in Canada and around the world for over nineteen years, including twelve as president. He is a distinguished author, speaker, and non-profit leader with a proven track record as a prayerful servant leader, intentional disciple maker and strategist with an entrepreneurial spirit.

As the Board of Directors, we eagerly anticipate the strong leadership Dr. Brown will bring to Columbia. We prayerfully look forward to the direction he will provide as Columbia seeks to be known for holistic discipleship that integrates biblically based theology with all of life, equipping ministry leaders and strengthening the church. The presidential transition will take place over the next few weeks with Dr. Brown officially assuming the role beginning February 1, 2024.

I am incredibly excited and honoured to serve and lead the Columbia team into this next chapter of impact. As we navigate chaotic, complex and changing times, I strongly believe that CBC has an incredibly strategic and important contribution to make in shaping and developing the next generation of leaders and everyday disciples to impact the Church, our country and the world.
– Dr. Steve A. Brown
